Why does the app require my exact Time and Place of Birth?

Sanathan X acts as a precise spiritual operating system. Your exact birth coordinates and time are required to mathematically calculate your personal astrological profile (Janma Nakshatra, Tithi, etc.) and generate accurate, location-specific Panchang data.

How do I delete my account and data?

Go to Profile > Manage Profile, and select 'Delete Account'. As per our privacy policy, your active sessions will be terminated, and your personally identifiable information will be erased or anonymized from our servers.

2. Nitya Karma & Sankalpas FAQs

What happens if I miss a day of my Sankalpa?

This depends on the specific rules of the Sankalpa you joined. Some allow you to ignore the missed day, some automatically extend your end date, and stricter Sankalpas may reduce your progress percentage or break the streak entirely. Check the "Information" tab on your specific Sankalpa card.

Can I change the time of my daily Nitya Karma?

Yes. Navigate to your active Nitya Karma list, tap the routine, and edit your "Preferred Time". The app will adjust your push notification reminders accordingly.

3. Panchang & Calendars FAQs

Why did my Panchang timings change when I traveled?

Panchang is strictly tied to geography. Sunrise, sunset, and Tithi transitions occur at different times depending on your GPS coordinates. If you have location services enabled, the app dynamically recalculates the exact cosmic timings for your current location.

If I join a shared calendar, who can see my information?

Only your Profile Name, Avatar, and your activity directly related to that specific calendar are visible to other members. Your private Nitya Karmas, personal Sankalpas, and contact number remain private.
